HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — It is catch-up time for Trash Collection in the area following last week’s weather-based holdups.
In the City of Harrisonburg, officials say residents with Monday and Tuesday trash pickup will have trash collected on regularly scheduled days this week, and extra bags will be accepted next without stickers.
Meanwhile, in the City of Staunton, no “bag tags” are required for extra trash this week as residential collection.
Staunton Public Works asks residents struggling with curbside snow to place bins and extra bags on the streetside of the snowbank.
The City’s Recycling Center also reopens today and resumes its regular operating schedule starting this morning at 9:00 AM.
