HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – A Harrisonburg man has admitted to robbing the Tobacco Hut and Vape Shop over a year ago.

According to online records, Alex Warble pleaded guilty to three felony charges, including armed robbery, during a hearing Tuesday morning in Rockingham County Circuit Court.

A judge then sentenced the 28-year-old Warble to 14 years in prison with 10 of those years suspended.

Back in October of 2024, Harrisonburg Police reported that Warble entered the store on South Main Street, brandished a firearm, and demanded cash from the business.

He fled the scene before officers arrived but was arrested three days later at his home on South Avenue.
