STAUNTON, Va – The Staunton Police Department recently investigated a report of a sexual assault of a minor.

Sergeant Butch Shifflett reported that as a result of that investigation, 50-year-old Benjamin Legg of Staunton was arrested last Wednesday and charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual battery and 10 counts of abduction with the intent to defile.

Legg was then taken to Middle River Regional Jail where he remains held without bond.
