HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – A fast-moving clipper system will sweep through the Great Lakes today, followed by a secondary cold front on Thursday. This could bring a few rain or snow showers to our area later this evening. Another quick-moving front is expected to approach the valley by late Friday night, though Friday itself looks mostly cloudy with little chance of precipitation. By late weekend, Arctic high pressure will begin pushing in from the west, but not before another low-pressure system potentially impacts the region Saturday night into Sunday. That system may deliver another round of rain and snow.
