ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Drivers should expect delays on Route 33 (Rawley Pike) in Rockingham County for about two weeks starting Tuesday, September 30, due to underground utility work.

Flaggers will control traffic at various locations on Route 33 between Route 752 (Muddy Creek Road) and Route 734 (Bank Church Road) in the Hinton area.

Traffic restrictions are scheduled as follows:

  • Tuesday and Wednesday, September 30 – October 1, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Monday and Tuesday, October 6 – 7, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
