AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — An Augusta County man was arrested this week after allegedly attacking a moving vehicle and its occupants.
Staunton Police Sergeant Christopher Ammons reported that Camden Gage Meade of Verona allegedly threw an object at a vehicle as it traveled on Statler Boulevard on Sunday.
Authorities say that, when the vehicle stopped, Meade approached and damaged the vehicle before assaulting two passengers he previously knew.
The 18-year-old Meade was arrested Monday on 4 charges including 2 counts of Assault and Battery.
He was released on bond but will make his first court appearance in the case next Wednesday in General District Court.
