Harvest Table
Harvest Table, located at 3092 John Wayland Highway, Dayton VA 22821, is a family-owned business that serves various foods and coffee drinks. According to their website, Harvest Table was founded for the purpose of creating a space to bring people together to create memories. Their menu includes breakfast and lunch items, pastries, coffee and tea. Their September menu includes fall drinks with flavors such as brown sugar, maple and pumpkin, as well as their featured food item: Pumpkin French Toast. They also feature a coffee flight of various fall flavors: Cookie Butter, Nana’s House, Pumpkin Spice, and Galatians 6:9.
Merge Coffee Company
Merge Coffee Company has three locations in Harrisonburg: 821A Mount Clinton Pike, 261 East Grace Street (The Union Building) on James Madison University campus and Nightcap by Merge on 425 North Main Street. According to their website, the name “Merge” came from two families collaborating and creating the concept. The company was established in 2017 by cousins Charles & Darryl Matthews and sisters Emily and Larisa Martin. Their menu includes various coffee drinks and pastries. Their Fall coffee specials include Pumpkin Spice Latte, Salted Caramel Praline Latte, Candied Pumpkin Cold Brew and Caramel Apple Matcha.
Moxie33 Coffee Co.
Moxie33 Coffee Co. is located at 10018 Spotswood Trail, McGaheysville, VA 22840. According to the website, the family-owned business was established in April 2022 after the owners traveled from Mississippi to share their baked goods. Their Fall coffee specials are Caramel Apple Macchiato, The Great Pumpkin Latte, Pecan Pie Latte, Glory Days Cold Brew, Blueberry Cobbler Matcha, Autumn Essence Chai Latte and Golden Glow Energy. Food options include Pumpkin Spice Roll and Pumpkin Muffin.
Black Sheep Coffee
Black Sheep Coffee is located at 80 East Market Street in Harrisonburg. According to the website, the owner, Chance Ebersold, moved to Virginia from Maine to learn more about the coffee industry. After graduating from school and gaining experience in food service, Black Sheep Coffee was created. The Fall Menu includes Spiced Harvest Brew, Sweater Weather Au Lait, Orchard Spice Au Lait, Maple Berry Latte, bundle up! Mocha, Golden Hour Chai and Fireside Steamer. Food includes a Pumpkin Mini Scone and Pumpkin Muffins.
The Maple Cafe
The Maple Cafe is located inside of The Valley Mall at 1925 East Market Street, Suite 500 Harrisonburg, VA 22801. The menu offers various foods and drinks, caffeinated and non-caffeinated. A few fall pastries include Maple Rolls, Apple Pie and Maple Cookies.
Aristocat Cafe
Aristocat Cafe, located at 111 North Liberty Street in Harrisonburg, is a Cat Cafe and Tea House. Established in April 2023, the cafe not only serves various coffee drinks but also teas. They also partner with the Humane Society of Shenandoah County to foster cats in their loft for customers to make a reservation to visit and meet the cats. Their fall flavors include Pumpkin Spice, Cookie Butter, Brown Butter Toffee, Honeycrisp Apple, and Spiced Brown Sugar.
