RICHMOND, VA (Rocktown Now) — Sixth-District Congressman Ben Cline honored the Virginia Poultry Federation on the House Floor this week to commemorate the organization’s centennial.

Cline celebrated the Federation’s century-long mission of serving farmers, processors, and businesses within the poultry and egg industry “through effective advocacy youth programs, scholarships, and vital partnerships, from education and outreach, to supporting 4H, FFA, and ag in the classroom, it’s contributions extend far beyond the farm.”

Cline congratulated President Hobey Bauhan and all members of the Federation for supporting more than 1-thousand farm families across the Commonwealth and for investing in the Shenandoah Valley’s next generation of agricultural leaders.
