SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — A Rockingham County man is in custody for allegedly brandishing a machete in Shenandoah County.
Chief Deputy, Major Kolter Stroop reports that, on August 1st, authorities received a call from a female claiming a male suspect, who she allegedly owed money, was attempting to intimidate her by walking in front of her house with a sword or machete in his hand.
On August 20th, Paul Lucas McIntosh of Timberville was taken into custody on a single charge of “Brandishing a machete or other bladed weapon with intent to intimidate.”
McIntosh is scheduled to be arraigned September 2nd in Shenandoah General District Court.
