UPDATE: HPD now offering higher reward in search for suspect involved in Spotswood Country Club break in

HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — UPDATE (9/9/25): Harrisonburg Police state that there is now a five-thousand-dollar reward through Crime Solvers for information leading to the arrest of the suspect involved in an incident that occurred this summer at Spotswood Country Club.

On July 29th, the suspect was seen on security footage breaking into the facility late at night and spilling chemicals used for golf course maintenance.

Anyone who may recognize the suspect or anyone with information on this case is encouraged to call Harrisonburg Police Detective Dyer at 540-437-2680 or submit a tip anonymously at www.harrisonburgva.gov/tip-411.
