HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – UPDATE: It is five years in prison for the Rockingham County woman who admitted to setting a fire to a home near Fulks Run last year.
According to online records, Christina Sue Ritchie received her five-year prison sentence during a hearing Monday afternoon in Rockingham County Circuit Court.
The 44-year-old Ritchie pleaded guilty to arson on April 28th in connection with a fire that destroyed a home in the 83-hundred block of Brocks Gap Road on June 3rd of last year.
Rockingham County Fire Chief Jeremy Holloway reported that the blaze caused an estimated 100-thousand-dollars in damage.
In addition to prison, Ritchie will have to pay nearly $15,000 in restitution and another $1,600 in fines.

According to online records, Christina Sue Ritchie is scheduled for a sentencing hearing this afternoon in Rockingham County Circuit Court on a felony charge of arson.
The charge is in connection with a fire that destroyed a home in the 8300 block of Brocks Gap Road June 3rd of last year.
Rockingham County Fire Chief Jeremy Holloway reported that the blaze caused an estimated $100,000 in damage.
The 44-year-old Ritchie remains in custody.
