ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — A missing 1-year-old has been found safe after 10 days.

Khloee Shipway of Harrisonburg was entered as a missing person as part of a Child Protective (CPS) investigation on July 1. Harrisonburg Police say that at the time the report was made, no criminal charges had been filed in the case, as she was not believed to be in imminent danger.

Harrisonburg Police added that due to the sensitive nature of the case, no public statement was initially released to protect the integrity of the investigation and ensure Khloee was brought to safety as soon as possible.

HPD detectives worked around the clock to locate her, and with the help of Arizona law enforcement, she was found today, July 11, safe in Bullhead City, Arizona.

However, the child’s mother, Megan Beeman, is currently wanted out of Rockingham County for two felony probation violations.
