WAYNESBORO VA (Rocktown Now) — Summer Sweat 5k/10k (formally Sunrise Spectacular) will be held at Ridgeview Park Serenity Garden. 

The race will begin on Saturday, July 12 at 7:00am.

Runners will receive a race day T-shirt, fully stocked aid stations, along with a post-race celebration offering food, drinks and an award ceremony. 

A part of the race proceeds at this year’s run will be supporting Relay for Life. 

Contributions will help support cancer research programs as well as local and statewide mission programs that are free of charge to cancer patients and their families. 

The mission programs include transportation to treatment, free wigs and scarves, access to information regarding their cancer diagnosis and treatment, and lodging during cancer treatment.
