LEXINGTON, Va. – The Bridgewater College men’s tennis team fell to No. 25 Washington and Lee 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon in ODAC play.

The Generals opened the match by sweeping all three doubles points to take a 3-0 lead into singles action.

Matthew Leonard battled at the top spot. After dropping the opening set 1-6, the sophomore opened the set on serve before falling 1-6.

Mark Gordon hung around on court two but fell 2-6, 2-6. Noah Hughes was in action at No. 5 and weathered away a pair of games falling 1-6, 1-6.

The Eagles will be back in action on Friday as they head to Virginia Wesleyan to battle the Marlins.
