HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Harrisonburg Water Treatment Plant has now resumed operating at full service.

Thanks to community conservation efforts, Public Utilities is reportedly making positive gains on increasing the available treated water supply to necessary levels.

However, city officials say conservation measures remain in place, and residents are encouraged to continue being wise with water usage.

If current trends continue, Public Works hopes to remove the mandatory water conservation notice in the coming days.
