WOODSTOCK VA: (ROCKTOWN NOW) – High school and college students in Shenandoah County have the opportunity to apply for $1000.00 scholarships, thanks to a number of local businesses and their donations. Carol Nazel with Virginia Cooperative Extension, explains how the funds became available and what students need to do the apply. Current or former Shenandoah County 4-H and FFA members are eligible to apply for the 4-H Dairy Club Endowed Scholarship to further their education. Any area of study will qualify.
