ROANOKE, Va. (BC Athletics) – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference Softball Championships have been altered due to weather as the tournament will now begin on Sunday instead of Saturday.

The Bridgewater College softball team will now play its opener at the Moyers Sports Complex at noon Sunday against No. 7 Roanoke. With a win, the Eagles will tangle with the winner of Randolph-Macon and Ferrum at 7:30 p.m. With a loss in the opener on Sunday, the Eagles will meet the loser of the Yellow Jackets and Panthers at 5 p.m. in an elimination game.

The schedule after Sunday remains up in the air due to weather, but as of now games would begin on Monday at 1 p.m. with more details to follow.
