SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) – Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office hopes to break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage open conversations about wellbeing during Mental Health Awareness Month.

In an online update, Captain Glenn Ogle says the SCSO recognizes the importance of mental health and is committed to offering support through Community Service Deputies.

“Our team works closely with organizations to connect individuals with mental health resources, crisis intervention resources, and wellness programs,” said Captain Ogle. “Through outreach education and direct assistance, our Community Service Deputies are here to provide guidance and support.”

Ogle added that help is available for those who are struggling and feel alone.
