ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) – UPDATE: Ronin Edison was safely located on June 2.

UPDATE: Reward has increased to $10,000.

The reward for information regarding the location of a missing teenager from Rockingham County has been increased.

According to the AWARE Foundation of Virginia, the cash reward has been upped to $5,000 as the search for Ronin Edison continues.

The 17-year-old was last seen March 29th on East Point Road in Elkton, near the Outdoor Effects greenhouse with a black and red backpack.

He is a black male with black dreads and brown eyes, weighs 292 pounds, and is about 6-foot, 2-inches tall.

Anyone with information regarding Edison’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office at 540-564-3800.
