PAGE COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Page County Sheriff’s Office began Body Cam training this week.

According to an update from Sheriff Chad Cubbage, PCSO patrol and investigations staff attended body cam training yesterday, kicking off an initiative more than a year in the making.

Deputies were instructed in how best to utilize the cameras, while command staff was taught how to upload evidence to the management portal and conduct routine audits of camera footage.

Cubbage says he is committed to ensuring that the body camera program is successfully integrated into operations and is hopeful that cameras will be on the street around mid-May.
