PAGE COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Page County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deputy after reports of alleged improper conduct.

In a social media post, the Sheriff’ Office says they are aware of the reports and say the incident occurred while the deputy was off duty. However, PCSO said they “hold all members of their department to a high standard of conduct, both on and off duty.”

In accordance with their department’s policy, the deputy has been placed on administrative leave pending a thorough internal investigation.

Sheriff Chad Cubbage said in the post “we take these allegations seriously and are committed to preserving the integrity of our agency and the trust of our community. We appreciate the public’s patience as we conduct a comprehensive review of the situation.”
