VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. –  Three Virginia cities are among the hardest-working in the nation.

According to the latest WalletHub survey, Virginia Beach, Norfolk and Chesapeake all made the list of America’s Top 20 hardest-working cities. The three cities weighed in at fourth, seventh and 13th, respectively.

WalletHub analyst Jill Gonzales says eleven factors were considered, including length of an average workweek, employment rates, unused vacation time and workers holding multiple jobs.

All three cities have heavy ties to naval employment.
