WOODSTOCK VA: (ROCKTOWN NOW) -The Shenandoah County 4-H Livestock Judging and Skillathon Team showcased their talents at the West Virginia University Livestock Judging Contest this past weekend.
The Senior Team, comprising Olivia Hawkins, Brittany Sine, Brooke Sine, and Lizzi Zirkle, delivered impressive performances. Brittany Sine stood out with notable placements: Fourth High Senior Individual in Sheep, Ninth High Senior Individual in Beef, Tenth High Senior Individual in Reasons, and Third High Senior Individual Overall.
The Junior Team, featuring Adalynn Hawkins, Tanner Hawkins, George Hawkins IV, and Savannah Ritenour, along with individual competitor Bryna Dysart, also excelled. Bryna Dysart secured Eighth High Junior Individual in Sheep. Savannah Ritenour achieved Fourth High Individual in Sheep, Fourth High Individual in Reasons, and Second High Junior Individual Overall. Tanner Hawkins earned Sixth High Individual in Goats. The Junior Team collectively earned the title of Fourth High Junior Team Overall.
The competition was held in Reedsville, West Virginia.
