HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – The Claude Moore Charitable Foundation has announced they will donate $88,000 to James Madison University (JMU) to fund the Claude Moore “Precious Time” program, an initiative of the JMU Institute for the Innovation in Health and Human Services.

The “Precious Time” program pairs students with families who have children with special healthcare needs or disabilities to provide caregivers up to 16 hours of respite care over a semester.

The Claude Moore Charitable Foundation’s will present a check to the Institute tomorrow, Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in a ceremony at JMU’s Sonner Hall at 1:00 PM.
