HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Trash pickup will be moved from Tuesday to Wednesday in the Friendly City due to a snow storm this week.

Officials say to place your toter out by 7am on Wednesday to ensure it is picked up. However, it is noted to not place trash out on Tuesday, in case it gets covered by snow or frozen shut. If toters are not collected on Wednesday, leave them out for collection by the end of the week.

The Recycling Convenience Center will be closed, and the Mobile Recycling Unit will not be in operation on Tuesday.

Bulk and Yard Debris collection has also been canceled for Wednesday.
