Dog tag and licenses renewals due Jan. 31 in Augusta County

AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Renewals for existing Augusta County one-year dog licenses or tags are due tomorrow (Friday).

All owners of dogs four months and older are required to purchase a license within 90 days of receiving the rabies vaccination.

County dog tags are issued on a yearly or a three-year renewal cycle, with three-year licenses running concurrently with the rabies certificate.
