A majority of Virginia voters don’t want Governor Glenn Youngkin to run for the White House.

In a state poll released by Christopher Newport University last week, 59-percent of commonwealth residents said they’d prefer that Youngkin stay out of the 2024 campaign.

According to the poll, 83-percent of Republicans in the state approve of the job Youngkin’s done so far, while 74-percent of Democrats disapprove of the governor’s performance.

Youngkin has given no indication of his future political plans.
