HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — A local construction company supports the next generation of agricultural leaders.

During a recent James Madison University home football game, the Lantz Construction Company donated 500-dollars to help fund the “Agriculture Heritage Scholarship,” an annual grant awarded to Rockingham County Students interested in pursuing agriculturally related subjects in higher education.

Rockingham Federation Future Farmers of America President Allexis Phillips, Vice President Emily Hammer, and Rockingham Academy Agriculture teacher Don Rhodes, proudly participated in the special donation presentation.

Lantz Construction also awarded donations to five other nonprofit organizations, totaling 3-thousand dollars.
