Phillip Wayne Shifflett ,72 of Harrisonburg passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Sentara RMH Medical Center. Mr. Shifflett was born September 30, 1952 in Rockingham County, and was the son of the late Charles and Lois Good Shifflett.

He attended Valley Church of Christ and loved attending car shows. He enjoyed Duck Dynasty, Pawn Stars and singing and listening to country music. He worked at Transprint for many years.

On January 13, 1985 he married Constance Jewell “Connie” Arbogast Shifflett who died March 21, 2021. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jody Shifflett, a brother, Charles Norman Shifflett, Jr. and a sister, Peggy Lee Shifflett.

Mr. Shifflett is survived by sons, James Gragg, Eric P. Shifflett and wife, Heidi, Dustin Smith; daughters, Vickie Gragg, Cindy Simmers and Shannon; brother, Gordon Shifflett, and wife, Emily Jane; sister, Mary Lou Shifflett and husband, Robert; grandchildren, Ashley Gragg, Heather Lash and husband, Donnie, Randy Gragg and Brooke, Lindsey Crawford and husband, Matt, Kasey Simmers and wife, Mattea, Tyler Kump and wife, Kaylin, Kenny Gragg and Hannah, Destiny Simmers and Jordan, Ebonee Strother and wife, Danielle, Amanda Hawkins and Robbie, Cody Hawkins and wife, Sydney, Trent Smith and Mackensie; great-grandchildren, Khiara Mason, Kionna Mason, Lajayden Warren and Michelle, Lola Gragg, David Crawford, Myles Baker, Ah-Ghia Jones, Skylar, Willamena and Milo Hawkins; great-great-granddaughter, Amari Warren; special family, Mike Kump, Mary Lee Hicks, Aunt Charlotte, Scott and Cindy Strother, Kimmy Williams and Chaz; and a number of special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisonburg. Burial will be private.
