HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — It’s 30 years in prison for the man involved in a fatal shooting in Harrisonburg more than two years ago.
Lewis Bailey pled guilty to first-degree murder back in February for his role in the shooting death of a 38-year-old man on October 26th of 2022, in the 200 block of Community Street.
A Rockingham County Circuit Court judge then sentenced the 37-year-old Bailey to 40 years in prison with 10 of those years suspended.
Two other people were charged in the case. Both 22-year-old Jornileyah McCornell and 20-year-old Genesis McCornell have preliminary hearings set for Thursday morning to face charges of murder by mob/lynching.
