HARRISONBURG VA: (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Cold and windy is what we can expect for this week’s weather. Persistent upper troughing in the east, combined with high pressure building from the west, will keep temperatures below average through midweek. A strong low-pressure system will move north of the area from Wednesday into Thursday, pushing a strong cold front southward Wednesday night into Thursday. This will bring unsettled weather into the weekend, with another potential low-pressure system affecting the region. Next week temperatures will be a little milder.
