HARRISONBURG VA: (ROCKTOWN NOW)-Some much needed rainfall is expected over the Shenandoah Valley today, with total rainfall approaching an inch in some areas, as a strong low-pressure system and cold front are expected to move through the area today. This morning, the high valleys of the Alleghenies might see a light wintry mix, while light to moderate rain showers are anticipated for the afternoon and evening. Rain chances will persist into the first half of Friday, but drier weather is forecast for the weekend and early next week as high pressure builds in.
