Fred A. Martin, 43, a resident of Rockingham, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.

Mr. Martin was born on July 4, 1981 in Rockingham County and was a son of Bernice Amanda Martin and the late Richard Allen Martin. He enjoyed his work as a farmer.

On March 3, 2017, he married Julia E. Martin who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother is a brother, Aaron Martin and wife Miriam of Rockingham; father-and-mother-in-law, Galen and Barbara Beery; brothers-in-law, Wendell Beery and wife Pauline, Arnold Beery; five nieces and three nephews.

In addition to his father, Mr. Martin was preceded in death by a niece.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Pleasant View Old Order Mennonite Church.

The family will receive friends at 478 Muddy Creek Road, Rockingham, on Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Monday, November 11, 2024 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
