SHENANDOAH NATIONAL PARK, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Shenandoah National Park announces the release of a new film that explores the significances of the natural history of the park, inspiring viewers and instilling a spirit of stewardship.
The film “Shenandoah” will place the park in the context of its Appalachian Mountain ecosystem, illustrating connections between the national park and the formations, migrations, and transformations that happen there.
The 24-minute film will premiere in Byrd Visitor Center at mile 51 this fall and Dickey Ridge Visitor Center at mile 4.6 in the spring.
A longer version of “Shenandoah” will be available for Public Broadcasting Service to reach national audiences.
