HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Harrisonburg Parks and Recreation’s marathon to raise funds for cancer patients has once again been timed to coincide with Cancer Awareness Month this October.

The “22nd Annual Race to Beat Breast Cancer 5K Run and Walk” is this Saturday, Oct. 19 at Westover Park. All funds raised will benefit the RMH Foundation for Breast Care and Treatment at the Sentara RMH Medical Center.
