WAYNESBORO, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Waynesboro man who was arrested on drug charges earlier this summer will now appear before a grand jury.
According to online records, Marquis Andrew Johnson, 29, had his two felony charges certified to the grand jury during a preliminary hearing Thursday morning in general district court.
Waynesboro Police executed a search warrant on June 22 in the 700 block of 3rd Street and discovered a substantial quantity of Fentanyl pills, cocaine and over $77,000 dollars.
Johnson has since been released on own recognizance.
