HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Harrisonburg Voter Registrar Mark Finks reports that 310 voters participated in Early Voting on Friday, which is more than the 181 voters who cast ballots on the first day of Early Voting back in 2020.

On Early Mornings Tuesday, Finks told host Jim Britt that this is the second Presidential election to include no-excuse early voting.

“This is kind of a new territory as far as comparing numbers to past elections because no-excuse early voting is such a new thing in Virginia,” Finks said.

Finks added that just over 200 people voted on Monday. Incidentally, the next deadline to keep in mind is Oct. 15, which is the last day folks can register to vote in this year’s election.
