Roy Lee Fellers, 70, of Harrisonburg, Virginia, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024, at home. Born March 23, 1954, in Baltimore County, Maryland, he was the son of the late Edward and Marie Snow Fellers.

Roy was raised in Martinsburg, West Virginia and later moved to the Shenandoah Valley. He was employed as a refrigeration mechanic and retired from Tyson Foods after 30 years. In his retirement years he completed many renovation projects at their home, “Mosby Manor.” He enjoyed spending time camping with his wife, Annie, and attending car shows with his beloved ‘65 Plymouth Sport Fury. Roy was also an avid collector of Model Trains. He had a larger-than-life personality; it was often said, “if you knew him you knew him.”

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Annie Price Fellers, and four sons, Matt Fellers (Rachel) of Summerville, South Carolina, Adam Fellers (Heather) of Harrisonburg, Chris Fellers (Lyndsi) of Grottoes, and Jamie Fellers (Karmy) of Bridgewater.

Also surviving are his six grandchildren, Kara Fellers, Kaleb Ham, Julia Jenkins, Michael Jenkins, Charlie Fellers, and Chloe Fellers, and two great-grandchildren, Dawson Ham and Kyndall Ham.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Mitchell and Margaret Stolipher.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg with Pastor Chaplain Cynthia Long officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
