ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – To better serve the public, Rockingham County has launched a new resource to help residents locate their voting precinct and polling location.

Director of Community Development Rachel Salatin says the Election Polling Place application created through the County’s Geographical Information System provides one place for the public to view election districts and precinct locations.

“The Election Polling Place application is another way that Rockingham County is working to meet the needs of its citizens and registered voters by providing information that can be accessed 24/7,” Salatin explained.

Salatin adds that this new resource for voters also provides direct links to important information about registering to vote, absentee voting as well as early voting, and is user friendly.

The Election Polling Place application is located on the Voter Registrar page of Rockingham County’s website. For additional voting related questions, please contact the Rockingham County Voting Registrar at (540) 564-3055.
