ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Luray Police Officer who was arrested earlier this summer for drunk driving in Rockingham County was scheduled to appear in court Thursday morning.
However, both sides agreed to continue Michael Wagoner’s hearing until Nov. 14, according to online records.
Wagoner was originally charged with DWI first offense after he was arrested on May 26. The class 1 misdemeanor is punishable by up to a year in prison and a $2,500 fine.
Wagoner also faces a second charge after failing to appear during a General District Court hearing on June 17. He is currently free on bond.
