HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Northern Virginia man who was convicted of stealing a modular home off a Harrisonburg lot has been sentenced nearly one year since his conviction.

Online records show that Stephen Rusiecki was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Friday.

Rusiecki, 62, was found guilty last September on one count of grand larceny which stemmed from an incident in October of 2021, when he stole a modular unit from Clayton Homes on South Main Street.

He was arrested in Amherst after police located the stolen home on a property in Halifax County.
