Margaret Catherine Eppard, 81, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024, at Harrisonburg Health and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Eppard was born on December 4, 1942, in Rockingham County, VA, to the late Alfred Lynn and Verdie Claire Knight. Before her retirement, she had worked for Wampler Foods in Hinton, Rocco, and McDonalds. She loved music, being outside, tending to her flowers, and time spent went her family. She was a member of Peake Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are her children, Linda Corbin and husband Charles of Broadway, Aldred Dale Eppard of Rockingham; sister, Rita Myers of Rockingham; grandchildren, Amber Rivera (Luis), Ace Corbin; and a great-grandson, Bentley Halterman
In addition to her parents, Ms. Eppard was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Ann Eppard, and her siblings, Mamie Knight, Margie Knight, Ervin Knight, Lawrence Knight.
Those wishing may view and sign the register book from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at the funeral home. The family will not be present.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Mt. Clinton Cemetery with Pastor Michael Fallin officiating.
