Terry Ray “Flip” Ritchie, 51, a resident of Rockingham, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Flip was born on July 4, 1973 in Rockingham County and was a son of Judy Elizabeth Long Ritchie of Singers Glen and the late Glen Butnice “Junie” Ritchie. He worked for George’s Foods for 28 years and liked to hunt and fish.

Surviving in addition to his mother, is his fiancée Carol Frances Bailey of Rockingham; children, Dakota Ritchie, Devon Ritchie, Jacob Ritchie, Dixie Ritchie; brother, Mike Ritchie and wife Kim; sister, Sherry Click and husband Billy; and two grandchildren, Gracelyn and Alora Ritchie.

Pastor Jon Prater will conduct a funeral service on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Mt. Zion Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 5 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The casket will remain closed.
