HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – A woman who was working as a pharmacy technician in training in the Walmart Pharmacy in Staunton was charged this week in federal court.

Niquelle Alyshia Madden faces one count of theft of a pre-retail medical product.

According to documents filed Monday in US District Court in Harrisonburg, in February of last year, Walmart had multiple substance shortages related to Madden’s employment, including three Adderall capsules and nearly a dozen Oxycodone tablets.

Walmart surveillance footage was reviewed related to the date and shortage and showed Madden allegedly taking each of the missing medications.

She was released on a $25,000 unsecured bond.
