ELKTON, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Elkton Police Department has arrested an individual they believe to have been involved in multiple obscene incidents at businesses around the town.

In a Facebook post, Elkton Police said they arrested Alonzo Eugene Williams on July 19th for one count of sexual display and one count of resisting arrest by force.

Police said this arrest stems from an ongoing investigation into multiple incidents within the Town reported by businesses detailing that Williams was performing inappropriate sexual acts in front of patrons.

Upon arrival, responding officers did not witness any acts, nor did complaining parties or those managing these businesses. As a result, officers issued trespass notices relating to twelve separate private and government owned properties.

Elkton Police added there have been several instances where officers were informed that witnesses had video recorded these incidents on their phones, though had left the business prior to police arriving.
The Elkton Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying witnesses to these incidents and obtaining video evidence of these acts, or eye witness accounts for the purposes of placing additional charges. The department asks that witnesses to these incidents come forward or contact the Elkton Police Department at 540-298-9441.
