SHENANDOAH COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Timberville man who was arrested following a 19-hour standoff with police will have to wait a couple of weeks to find out his fate.

A sentencing hearing was scheduled for Tuesday morning for Joshua Ryan Litten in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

However, online records indicated that a joint motion moved that hearing until July 15.

Litten, 39, was indicted by a grand jury back in June of last year on more than a dozen charges, including 10 counts for malicious assault of a law enforcement officer.

The standoff occurred on December 6, 2022 at Perry Trailer Park Road near Mount Jackson.

He continues to be held without bond at RSW Regional Jail.
