HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Rocktown High School continues to add to its coaching roster for their first year which begins this fall.

The latest coaches to join the lineup are Kevin Navedo for baseball and Eric Payne for Girls Basketball.

Coach Navedo was an Assistant Coach for Harrisonburg High School during the 2022-23 season. Most recently, Coach Navedo served as the Assistant Coach at Bridgewater College.

Coach Payne started coaching women’s basketball in the 1980’s and in 2003, became Assistant Coach at Eastern Mennonite University, leading the women’s team to an appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Payne also led EMU to the Sweet Sixteen round in 2004 and obtained an ODAC Championship. He has also coached at Fort Defiance High School, Staunton High School, and most recently Bath County High School.
