Angelina Osorio-Henriquez, 60, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the VCU Medical Center in Richmond,

Mrs. Osorio-Henriquez was born on November 19, 1963 in El Salvador, and was a daughter of the late Ricardo Brigido Osorio and Angela Henriquez-Gonzalez. She worked for Cargill Foods for many years. She also enjoyed cooking. Angelina was very family oriented and loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.

On February 11, 2002, she married Jose Chavez, who survives.

In addition to her husband, Angelina is survived by her children, Elixa Menjivar, Rafael Santos Menjivar, Asucena Del Carmen Menjivar, Darlin Esmeralda Chavez, Yuleili Chavez; four brothers; nine grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog “Maia”.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Blanca Arely Menjivar.

The funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday June 29, 2024 at the Mausoleum Chapel of Eastlawn Memorial Gardens with Father Silvio Kaberia officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening, June 28, 2024 from 5 until 8 PM at the Harrisonburg Chapel of Kyger Funeral Homes.
