F. Michael (Tweeter) Collins, 73, of Harrisonburg, Virginia, passed away at his home on June 9, 2024.
Michael was born on June 6, 1951, in Harrisonburg, Virginia to Frank and Ruth Collins. After graduating from Harrisonburg High School, he used his artistic and creative abilities as a craftsman and self-employed contractor. He traveled extensively, but lived most of his life in Dayton, Virginia.
He is survived by his daughter, Randi Clark and husband Paul; grandsons, Cevaun Jones, Tristan Clark; and granddaughter, Reese Clark. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson, Elijah Clark.
Michael lived his life to the fullest and made an impression wherever he went. He loved his Harley Davidson, fishing, camping and having a good time. He was well known and well loved by many, and he will be greatly missed. Michael was a funny, good hearted, one-of-a-kind person and it will be hard to remember him without smiling and thinking of one of his crazy stories.
A memorial service will be held in honor of Michael on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church, 422 Hinton Road, Hinton with Donnie Cline officiating.
