HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board is jumping into the fight against fentanyl and opioid addiction by offering a free overdose reversal program in the Friendly City.
According to a post on the group’s social media, this REVIVE training course is happening June 18 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Massanutten Regional Library’s central location on South Main Street.
Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose by using Narcan. The class and all supporting materials come at no cost, and registration is not required.
